26 years into his papacy and at the age of 84 our beloved holy father bade farewell to his earthly mission to be welcomed into the almighty's loving embrace. Amen was the last word he uttered, which perfectly summarizes a life devoted in faithful service to Christ and his church. In our traditional translation was his last conscious thought. As one of the Filipino Youth I personally offer this blog to his greatness as human being and for giving his special love to the Philippines next to his country Poland.

I still remember the time that he visited the country last Januay of 1995 to host the 10th World Youth Day, I was 11 years old that time.. He truly inspired a lot of people especially the youth like me..
